Once, The Nethrezim served the Dreadlord Varimathras as his Elite guardians, students, and spies... but the day came to pass when the students exceeded their mentor. Growing beyond his grasp, they turned their back on him and walked out from his shadow; born anew from secrets of the Twisting Nether, they struck out to forge their own path. From the fading Shadow of The Nethrezim, Netherborne came to pass - never to bow to another master, walking among The Horde but standing as their own!

In a time of war, they sought to call to arms and council a mighty band of Dark Brethren.

Some had dwelled long on the secrets of the Twisting Nether. Others hailed from lives of crime. Orphanages yawned forth roaming adolesents or steet-rats with a need for security. Still more had simply fallen from grace.

All were welcomed into ranks upon this sacred oath; Live and Die by the Netherborne. Should the whole of the world, Alliance and Horde, fall to ruin, from the ashes of such a sundering would rise the Netherborne, the Dark Family.

Now the Netherborne seek to take control of valued lands and resources and earn the ears of those in power in the hopes that should the void and chaos of war consume Azeroth, their lives, power, and great secrets, should remain intact.
